FAQ

Yes! As long as you initially download the app using the same Apple ID, you will be able to restore your purchases, see below.

Make sure you download the app while logged in with the sample Apple ID used to make your previous purchases. Open the store in the app and press the ‘restore’ or ‘restore purchases’ button. You may need to enter your Apple ID password so we can confirm your previous purchases with Apple.

As long as you downloaded the app with the same ID, it is impossible to be charged twice for a sound pack by Apple. You will get a prompt telling you that you already purchased the sound pack, and the it will now be downloaded. You can check your purchase hustory in iTunes if you're not sure what you've already bought.

Refunds for apps/purchases are managed by Apple, so it’s not possible for us to help with this. You can find out more about the app store ‘return’ policy here.

First try the following:
- Fully restart your device to clear it’s memory.
- Try running the app with nothing else in the background.

If the crashes persists, you can extract a crash log from your device and send it to us which will allow us to fix the problem as quickly as possible. Here is a quick guide on where to find them:

Using a Mac:
- After a crash has occured, sync your device to iTunes on your Mac.
- Open Finder (found in the Dock)
- Click on the 'Go' menu at the top of your screen, and select 'Go to Folder'
- Type (or paste): ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/
- Open the folder with the same 'name' as your device.
- Open the folder called 'Retired'
- Look for files that contain the name of the app that has crashed (Launchpad or Blocs), and then find the one with the correct date/time if there are multiple files.

Using a Windows PC:
- Open any Windows Explorer Window (My Computer, My Documents, etc.)
- Type %appdata% into the address bar, and press enter.
- Navigate to Roaming > Apple computer > Logs > CrashReporter > Mobile Device > *Your Device Name*.
- Look for files that contain the name of the app that has crashed (Launchpad or Blocs), and then find the one with the correct date/time if there are multiple files.

Attach the crash file to an email and send it to us at support@blocs.cc with as much information about your device and how to reproduce the crash as possible.

MWith the exception of the Ninjatune Artist soundpacks in Launchpad, you can use the loops from the app in your commercial music as long as you do not distribute the loops individually. The Ninjatune Artist soundpacks contain copyrighted material and cannot be used commercially. You can see if a pack is a Ninjatune Artist pack in the store as it will have a 'conditions of use' link in it's store description. It will also show up when searching by tags with the 'Artist' tag, and the description of the pack usually has a short bio of the artist.

You can read more about the terms of use for the soundpacks here.
